Privacy Policy

This policy describes what CELPIP Writing Coach collects and why. The site is run by an individual, not a company, and does not sell data.

What we collect

• The texts you submit for scoring, the prompt you chose, and the report generated for them. They are stored so that the report link works and so that we can check the scorer's behaviour. They are deleted automatically after 12 months.
• A visitor cookie (vid, a random identifier) that lets us count daily free reports per device and understand which page first brought you here (referrer, landing page, campaign parameters). It contains no personal data and lasts up to 400 days.
• Daily usage counters keyed by a hash of your IP address with a daily salt, used only for rate limits. The address itself is not stored; counters are deleted after 7 days.
• Messages you send through the contact form, with the email address you choose to include, kept for up to 12 months.
• Server logs kept by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for a short period for security and debugging.

What we do not collect

No account, no name, no email is required to use the scorer. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not share submitted texts with anyone except the AI provider that processes them (see below).

AI processing

Texts submitted to the scorer are sent to a language model hosted on Cloudflare Workers AI to produce the report. The text is processed to generate the report and is not used by us to train models. Do not include personal information such as full names, addresses or phone numbers in your texts; the prompts never require them.

Report links

Each report has a link with a random identifier. Anyone with the link can view the report, which contains your text. Report pages are not indexed by search engines. Share links only with people you trust.

Your choices

You can clear the cookie and the saved drafts from your browser at any time. To have a specific submission deleted before the 12-month retention, send the report link through the contact page.
